I have a recipe for 18 muffins, but no muffin pan. Can I bake it in a cake pan instead? If so, what size should I use? And do I need to adjust the temperature at all? Thank you!

I’m going to be getting some foil cupcake liners/cups, and i read you don’t need one if you use the foil kind. So can i make muffins if i just put a few of the foil ones in a regular cake pan and bake them?
